About us

The two of us, Denis Hriň and Nicolas Hečko, founded Nidex Technology. It all started in 2023 with a simple decision: we wanted to run our own business. The question of ‘what kind’ only came after that.

We looked for the answer in what we know best. Nicolas studied automation and had experience in industrial automation and electrical installations. So we decided to assemble, install, commission and program production lines.

Alongside our day jobs, we prepared, quite literally, in a children’s room. Three times a week we held compulsory meetings where we put together a business plan, analysed the market, looked for our first customers and planned, month by month and day by day, when we would leave our jobs and go full time. In 2024 we officially founded Nidex Technology.

Then came a chance encounter that changed our direction. We came across Daitable, a company that had developed a platform for saving energy using artificial intelligence. That is how our journey into smart metering and IoT began, and it has become the core of what we do today.

The beginnings were not easy. We delivered our first projects as unpaid pilots, because we wanted to prove we could do it. It was these very projects that brought us our first paying clients and the trust we still build on today.

The two people in a children’s room have become a team that delivers metering and energy management across many sectors. But our approach has not changed: we treat every project as if it were our first.
